\nRose: I WAS NOT SCARED. I told you to go into the teacher\u2019s lounge, but you wouldn\u2019t listen to me! We could have gotten a ton of good food, not this nasty cafeteria food that gives us stomachaches.

\nRichie: Yeah! Rose is nearly fearless. You chickened out, didn\u2019t you?

\nJackie: Absolutely not! I\u2026 the lock was difficult\u2026 next time. Next time I\u2019ll get the food. I will. I\u2019m Jackie, the president of DRAMA club! I\u2019ll get the food.

\nRichie: Okay Jackie, that\u2019s great and all, but we need to get some people to look for service so we can get in contact with someone that\u2019ll come rescue us. The storm is insane outside, but someone\u2019s gotta have a way to dig through all this snow. We just need to let them all know we\u2019re here\u2026 and we can\u2019t do that without cellphones. I feel like that should be our first priority. Not getting special food.

\nJackie: But how will you be able to even function without food?

\nJackie: Angry Yes, I do. We all do. But I\u2019d think that survival is a bit more important than trying to call people when we all know there\u2019s no signal, and updating our Facebook statuses saying how upset we are that we\u2019re stuck with a bunch of people we don\u2019t like.

\nRichie: That\u2019s the last thing we\u2019ll be doing. We need to keep trying to make contact with the rest of the world. And nothing else in this school works seeing as the power is out so we HAVE to use or cellphones.

\n! and for those who are not in the scene we ar doing monday, i would like to get random shots of you all finding cell phone service. i think we have enough random footage of the nerds, so maybe matt can follow you guys around with the flip. this will involve britnally and jelly to be in costume. eveything's coming together nicely! im working on chapters 7 and 8 of the script this weekend. not sure if i'll finish but ill keep everyone posted. im aiming to do at least one scene a day.

I think Simons hallucinations from chemicals or an allergic reaction to mold (kevins suggestion) would work well.
\nSimons death needs to deal with the beast and the whole group should be involved. I was thinking that the group should be running from the beast, and Simon could stand in front of them trying to tell them to stop. Then they ignore him, and actually trample him and leave him there.
\nRegarding the janitor thing, the janitor would symbolize heaven, like how piggy and Simon were taken away by water, instead it would be a janitor. \nI think they should hunt the tigers so we can put the mascot head on a stick. We can all bring in stuffed animal tigers and I like Kaelin's idea of hunting by picking the locks in the locker room. (why we would need to hunt tigers im not really sure. but im sure we can come up with a reason)

\nThis week though I'm going to be assigning two people to another job. One will be the prop manager who is in charge of looking at the script, finding what props we need, and gathering them as soon as possible (or making them). The other person is going to be in charge of character creation, which will involve looking at the script, assiging roles to people, and thinking about costumes. Even though it's a school setting, we somehow need to show a change in physical appearance to mimick how the boys ended up just running around naked. This will also involve warpaint. If anyone is interested in either of these roles (Sage probably will) just keep that in mind and we'll talk about it in class.

One of them is a script editor, this person looks through the script and edits and makes sure that characters speak the same way (because we have so many people writing it) and make sure it makes sense. However Costume Designer is an entirely different role and doesn't have to do with being a script editor (sorry if that sounded harsh haha)...But make sure those two are separated so the creative juices can keep flowing and not just rely on the script editors decisions. And I don't think that you should "assign" roles to people. Not until the script is written. We need to know how big each role is, or who in the class is good at memorizing lines. I personally think that we should have some sort of auditions to see who can act which role according to the characters that we will soon come up with. You might want to assign a Casting Director to see through that this is properly done, and based on how one portrays the actual character while acting rather than just their appearance and their every day personality. Ahaha man. I gotta stop for now before I don't.
